scottishathletics’ online CRM system, JustGo, was introduced in May 2025. Below are the answers to some frequently asked questions regarding managing your membership, entering an event and applying for an event licence through JustGo.

How do I log in?

All existing members should have received an email invitation from JustGo to activate your new account. If you have not received the e-mail please check your junk mail folder. Alternatively, if you know the email address registered with your account you can visit the following link Login – JustGo and click on ‘Forgot Password’.

Most of your details will be pre-loaded—just follow the instructions to verify and set your password. You will be asked to select your communication preferences and complete the equality monitoring questions (anonymous – see why we are asking for this information and how your personal data will be treated).

 

 

Will my membership details transfer over?

Yes, your membership type, expiry date, and club affiliations will be migrated to JustGo. Please review your profile and update any incorrect or out of date information. If any details are locked on your profile, contact membership@scottishathletics.org.uk to get this updated.

Will my membership number be the same?

Yes, your scottishathletics or jogscotland membership number will remain the same

What if I don’t remember which email I have signed up with?

You can also use your SA or JS number to login. Also the email address that you received the welcome email from will be the one you can use to login

Will my password be the same?

No, when you activate your new account you will be prompted to set a password. If you forget your password you can request a reset by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ button at the following link Login – JustGo

I am a parent, do I sign up as myself or my child?

When you sign up to JustGo, enter your child’s details then you will have a chance to enter your details under the ‘Parent/Guardian Details’ section which will display if your child is under 18. If they are over 18, they should use their own details. If you are already a member then use the details inputted on the old system and once logged in, update accordingly.

What if I have a family membership?

JustGo supports family accounts. You’ll be able to manage multiple members under one login if applicable.

 

I am not part of a club, can I be a scottishathletics member?

Yes you can be a scottishathletics member. As a senior member you can be unattached for one year and after that you will need to become a club member if competing in championship and league events. The exception to this is if you are solely competing in Road Walking, Road, Hill and Mountain or Trail Events. Once you have represented an affiliated athletics club, it is not possible to return to unattached status.

Do I need a profile picture?

You have the option to upload a profile picture, however, it is not mandatory. Please follow the guidelines provided with JustGo.

I have a direct debit set up, do I need to cancel this

 

Your previous direct debit will be cancelled. You may wish to also cancel the direct debit with your bank.

When you next renew your membership you will need to setup a new direct debit through JustGo

Our membership works on an annual basis. You will receive an email before your expiry date making you aware of when your membership expires.

The first time you renew you will have two options once logging into your account. You can set up a direct debit which will renew each year automatically or, you can make a one-off payment by card

 

 

How do I cancel my membership?

If you would like to cancel your membership and have a direct debit set up, then contact your bank to cancel the direct debit. This in turn will cancel your membership. If you would like to cancel your membership and paid by card, then you don’t need to do anything. Your membership will end on its expiry date. You can log in at a later date if you decide you want to rejoin.

How do I change my first claim club?

Your clubs will appear on your profile, your first claim club will be starred.

To change this, click the three dots on the top right of the club icon and select ‘change club’. Enter the details of the club you would like to change to along with a reason. This will then be sent to your current club for approval as well as the club you are wanting to join.

You will then have to make a £10 change of club fee (16+). Your change will then be complete.

 

How do I change my second claim club?

Your clubs will appear on your profile, your second claim club will be NOT be starred.

To change this, click the three dots on the top right of the club icon and select ‘change club’. Enter the details of the club you would like to change to along with a reason. This will then be sent to your current club for approval as well as the club you are wanting to join. No payment involved. Your change will then be complete.

 

 

 

How do I remove a club from my profile?

Contact membership@scottishathletics.org.uk to remove any clubs from your profile.

What if my membership expired on the previous system?

If your membership expired after 1st Feb 2025  you will have an account set up on Justgo. You will need to use your email or SA/JS number to login and renew your membership. If your membership expired before 1st Feb 2025, then you will have to create a new account on Justgo.

Can I choose to pay for my membership as a one-off transaction or by auto-renewal?

Yes, the option to choose your preferred method of payment is selected immediately before finishing and adding a membership to the shopping cart.

If paying by card, you must choose the ‘one-off’ payment option before adding your membership to the cart.

Can I pay direct from my bank account as an alternative to using a credit/debit card?

Yes, you can choose to pay by card or directly from your bank.

The Bank payment option can be used for one-off transactions and subscriptions (auto-renewals), while credit and debit cards are for one-off payments only.

Whether paying by card or from your bank account, memberships will not renew automatically if you choose the one-off payment option.

How do I arrange to pay direct from my bank account?

In the Checkout & Payment page, once you are ready to pay for the items in the cart, select Bank Payment before following the onscreen instructions.

Your one-off or subscription payment will be collected via Direct Debit using GoCardless, a secure and trusted payment provider

Can I pay for my membership without setting up a direct debit via GoCardless?

Yes, this is managed by selecting Pay by Card in the Checkout & Payment page.

This is a one-off payment and will not automatically renew when the current membership period reaches expiry.
