Event Group Projects (EGP)

Launched in 2021, the EGP were created to facilitate the development of the pathway for each event group with the main aims being to:

• Put the fundamentals in place
• Increase depth
• Improve retention

Each EGP will be built around the following strands:

• Coach Development
• Athlete Development
• Competition Development

In achieving the aims above, we believe that the EGP can also help to drive up standards across events ultimately increasing the number of athletes/ coaches being considered for the 4J Studios National Athletics Academy and Performance Foundations programmes.
