Grampian

Athlete Development Programme (ADP) operates across Grampian, delivering both S&C and a workshop/seminar programme on various aspects of performance to the supported athletes. The ADP is made of up of several partners, with the main purpose to assist local athletes to reach the level required within their sport to be nominated for full Sportscotland Institute of Sport support.

The ADP is run and delivered on an annual basis, with athletes being supported for around 10 months provided their level of competition remains or improves and acceptable attendance is maintained at ADP sessions.

Nomination/Selection – Entry to programme is limited and nomination are made by the governing body on a priority (performance) basis.

Each year final selections, made by the ADP partnership, will take place by the end July with an induction taking place and delivery of the programme starting at the beginning of September. The programme will then run through until end of June the following year.
