Entries close next week: 4J Senior and U17 Champs at Grangemouth

Entries are now open for the 4J Studios Senior and U17 Championships, to be held at Grangemouth Stadium on August 12/13.

It is the 130th version of the Senior Track and Field champs and as ever we are urging the community to support this event.

We have alreayd received more than 750 event entries from around 500 athletes, so it looks set to be a fantastic weekend of competition.

Non-scottishathletics members entries open at 10am on 13 July.

The closing date for entries is 5pm on Thursday 27 July, or as entries sell out.

The timetable for the weekend incorporates a number of Para medal events, including wheelchair, frame running and ambulant track events, along with seated throws.

The prize pot of £2000 will be awarded to, or shared by, athletes who achieve or exceed the prize pot standard (see entry link for details of standards).

Thanks, as ever, to our partners 4J Studios, for their support in staging this key event in our summer track and field season.

Please note: U15s wishing to enter the U17 Championships will be put on a waiting list at this stage to allow as many U17s as possible to enter their National Championship.

U15s on the U17 waiting list will be contacted if/when we can offer them a place. They will be able to book online in events with places remaining in the final week before entries close, or will be contacted as places become available in any sold-out events in line with the usual process.
