Glasgow hosts U18 European Cities Challenge – check details re selection
Glasgow win first European Cities Challenge (November 2022)
Glasgow will again field an U18 team in the European Five Cities Athletics Challenge later this year.
And indeed Glasgow are the hosts this time with the indoor event taking place at the Emirates Arena on Saturday 14 October 2023.
The selection window is open currently with this event open to U18 athletes from the Glasgow area.
Selection standards can be achieved by performances up to Monday 21 August ( the day after the conclusion of the 4J Age Groups in Aberdeen).
The main criteria are as follows:
*Aged under 18 on 31 December 2023 (following World Athletics Age Groups)
*Reside within Glasgow City
*Attend a Glasgow Secondary School or place of further education
*Be a first claim member of a Glasgow athletics club (GAA or another Glasgow City based Club)
