Covid-19: latest guidance for changes on May 17

scottishathletics are pleased to host another online Q and A Session around Covid-19 restrictions and changing guidance.

This is taking place on Monday 17 May from 6pm and club leaders and coaches are invited to attend.

As has been recent practice, we have forwarded invitations to the Zoom meeting to all club secretaries and those wishing to attend are asked to contact their secretary for the required link.

All the impending changes from Monday are out-lined in the story via the link above and up-dated guidance documents are on the Covid-19 section of this website.

The Glasgow Athletics Association are making plans for a 800m/3000m meet at Crownpoint on Friday 4 June.       .

This event will include the Scottish 3000m Championships at U17 and U20 level and the event will run from 6pm to 9pm.

There will be 200 spaces at the meeting – with 100 allocated to each distance. The GAA work in partnership with the British Milers Club and BMC entries are priced at £8 per entry. All other entries are £12.

Entries will open on Monday 17 May for BMC members at 8am and on Tuesday 18 May to all other athletes (again, from 8am).

Waiting lists will be in operation.

*Please note that with Glasgow currently placed in Level 3 arrangements around this event could change in the next couple of weeks.
