Start-lists and timetables (which becomes Live Results)

Our 4J Studios National Open Series returns to Meadowmill in East Lothian this weekend after a successful pilot last week.

Events over Friday, Saturday and Sunday last weekend saw 200 athletes and 40 Officials working together to deliver a return to track and field athletics.

That was prior to a Scottish Government date of August 24 for a return to sports events behind closed doors and some of the restrictions have now eased – with 800m races this weekend taking place ‘as normal’ rather than athletes running the whole distance in lanes.

In the sprints, athletes can now be in lanes next to each other – although the numbers are restricted in all events.

All the Start-lists and timetables for Saturday and Sunday action at Meadowmill are available online. This link becomes Live Results once the weekend’s athletics starts early on Saturday morning.

Start-lists and timetables (which becomes Live Results)

On Saturday, we are looking forward to competition in the 400m, 100m, Long Jump, High Jump, Seated Throws, Discus.

On Sunday, we are looking forward to competition in the 200m, 800m, Hammer, Shot Put, Triple Jump.

We are delighted there will be a Para element to some of our track events, too, so thanks to those athletes and coaches for entering for Meadowmill.

Sunday information

We would ask all attending to check the Events section pages for further information.

In particular, athletes are asked to read the Covid-19 document (on the right of the pages) Phase 3 Athlete Guidelines which gives specific guidance for those taking part in competition.

For example, in our timetables, note that there are cleaning breaks involved this weekend when field events take place.

Good luck to everyone competing this weekend and thanks in advance to 4J Studios, Enjoy Leisure, all volunteers and of course our scottishathletics Officials.
