Armagh Road Races event website

Eight athletes will represent Scotland at the Armagh Road Races later this week.

We announced the selections last month for this international opportunity as outlined in our Road Running and Cross Country handbook.

The event takes place in Armagh and is happening for the first time in three years because of Covid cancellations.

Men will run over 5k with the Women over 3k.

Good Luck to those selected for Scotland for Armagh as follows . . .

Women:

Megan Davies (Sale Harriers); Sarah Tait (Lasswade AC); Meredith Reid (Inverclyde AC); Mhairi Maclennan (Inverness Harriers)

Men:

Adam Craig (Inverclyde AC); Ben MacMillan (Central AC); Jack Patton (Kilbarchan AAC); Scott Stirling (Falkirk Victoria Harriers)

It’s always a fast course with high quality fields and represents a good opportunity for Scots, with a number of clubs and individuals in the habit of racing.

Mark Nixon and Janice Hendrie will travel to the event as our team managers.
