The 4J National Track Relays are centre stage this season as the curtain comes down on a great summer of championship action in Scotland.

And the atmosphere at Grangemouth should be well worth savouring, with this event becoming the track and field equivalent of the National XC up the road at Callendar Park.

We’ve a remarkable 2255 athlete names put forward by clubs and our Competitions team expect in the region of 1300 of those listed to compete.

Overall there are 347 teams entered from almost 30 different clubs and that includes the highest number of teams entered for the 4x300m and the 4x400m events.

Key information is on our Event section page (see link above) and the Start-lists will become Live Results during Saturday via the link here:

Start-lists and Live Results

The 2021 event at Linwood was similarly attended with big numbers crowding around the track to support and the excitement should be tangible at Grangemouth.

With Grangemouth thus likely to very busy, we are making plans to offer two warm-up areas.

With no field events, the in-field will be available as a warm-up area in addition to the indoor track.

The in-field will be available to any team at any time, as long as they take care when crossing the track.

Teams will be able to use the indoor track for ONE HOUR prior to the assembly time for their race (to help us to limit the numbers indoors at any one time)

All of this is included in the information document for Team Managers.
