Could you join the staff team at scottishatlhetics? We are currently recruiting for three positions across our development and performance teams.

We’re looking for a National Club Manager, to join the team supporting and developing our network of clubs and club leaders.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sport development and have evidence of developing positive and meaningful relationships with colleagues and partners.

 * Applications for the National Club Manager post close at noon on Friday 16 June.

We are also looking to fill two new positions on our performance team.

The National Talent Manager will work on projects such as the 4J Studios National Athletics Academy, making sure the right support is in place for athletes and coaches along the talent pathway.

The National Field & Combined Events Manager will build on the successes of our Jumps and Throws Projects.

Both roles come as a result of increased investment in scottishathletics, by our funders, sportscotland.

Applications for both performance roles close at noon on Thursday 1 June.

Head of Performance Mark Pollard (pictured below) said: ‘Our aims in the coming years are to continue to develop clear, consistent pathway programmes which facilitate the retention of athletes to achieve success as seniors and prepare coaches to go on that journey as well.

‘We want to see continued athlete success across athletics and Para athletics, with strong representation on GB teams across all disciplines of our sport.

‘We will also look to support access to quality competition opportunities for our performance development athletes as they move through the pathway.

‘We’re thankful for the continued support of sportscotland Institute of Sport as we do this – the importance of partnership can’t be underestimated and their input and expertise will play a key role as we continue to aspire to move the sport forward in the years ahead.’
