Sign-up for Regional Development Days

Following a successful weekend of Coach Development last month, coaches interested in developing their knowledge in Jumps and Throws are invited to register for the next series of Regional Development Days in December.

With a focus on providing practical, accessible workshop opportunities for ongoing learning, building a coach network and supporting coaches to develop their technical and physical literacy of field events, these sessions are an ideal opportunity available to all licensed coaches.

The closing date to sign-up will be Friday 26 November.

Please note each session also closes when it reaches capacity so sign-up now to make sure you do not miss out.

Details of the Regional Development Days for Jumps and Throws are:

Jumps East: Saturday 4 December

Dundee Regional Performance Centre, Dundee: 10am-1pm (Horizontal Jumps & High Jump)

Jumps West: Sunday 5 December 

Emirates Arena, Glasgow: 10am-1pm (Horizonal Jumps & High Jump)

Throws East: Saturday 4 December

Dundee Regional Performance Centre, Dundee: 9:30am-12:30pm (Shot & Hammer) and 1pm-4pm (Discus & Javelin)

Throws West: Sunday 5 December

OnX Sports Centre, Linwood: 10am-1pm (Shot/Discus, Javelin & Hammer)

Throws North: Sunday 12 December

Queens Park, Inverness: 9:30am-12:30pm (Shot & Hammer) and 1pm-4pm (Discus & Javelin)
