**We plan to update this story with additions and corrections as and when more results emerge. It is not the intention to recap every Scottish performance and every level. Thank You.

Scottish athletes have been competing in various locations across Britain, Europe and the United States over the past few days.

Jake Wightman returned to the track and the 2022 World Champ came up with a victory at the Sound Running event in Los Angeles.

Jake’s win was inside the qualifying standard for the Commonwealth Games next year as he clocked 3:35.36 as he moved from fifth at the bell to close with a final lap of 55.51 seconds.

Jemma Reekie won in Poland and, similarly to Jake in terms of looking towards Glasgow 2026, her time of 1:59.79 was inside the Commonwealth Games standard for Women’s 800m.

Completing a hat-trick in terms of Scots achieving standards, Ben Potrykus came up with one of the best runs of his career in Belgium.

Ben clocked a 13:35.92 Personal Best in the 5000m, with the Glasgow 2026 mark at 13:37.29. Great to hear!

At the same meet, Fife AC athlete Reiss Marshall clocked a big PB of 14:09.61 to get inside the GB and NI standard for the European U20 Champs later this summer. Reiss is now fourth in the rankings with three Scots in the top four.

Jack Patton took second place in his race with a 5000m PB of 13:56.21 for the Kilbarchan AAC athlete.

In Zagreb, Erin Wallace was fifth in her 800m race at 2:02.99.

Paralympian Melanie Woods was in action in Switzerland at the well-known Nottwil meet.

Mel came up with a fine win in the T54 800m when she clocked 1:45.81. The Scot also raced in T53-T54 1500m and posted 3:18.73.

One of the best performances of the season so far by a younger Scottish athlete came from Holly Whittaker.

The Aberdeen AAC athlete took down the Scottish U17 Record for 80m Hurdles at Chelmsford (subject to ratification). Holly clocked 10.96 seconds.

Well done to Holly, her family, coach and club.
