The Scottish Cross Country Grand Prix is now into the final round – with the Lindsays National XC looming next month.

And the positions in Senior races at Falkirk will ultimately decide how the full pot of £4000 is divided up by our top women and men.

Inter-District XC champions Jamie Crowe and Kirsty Walker have clear leads in each division but, even within the top five, the points earned at Callendar Park will be crucial.

Edinburgh AC athlete Kirsty is top of the women’s table with 143 points with Eve MacKinnon of Cambuslang leading the chase in second on 103 points. Third place is held by Nynke Mulholland-Stummer (Inverclyde AC) on 83 points after the third round of races at Renfrew.

Completing the top five in the women’s division there is a tie on 73 points between Nancy Scott (Edinburgh AC) and Lauren Dickson (Lasswade AAC).

Central AC athlete Jamie is similarly clear at the top of the men’s table with 150 points. West champion Duncan Robinson of Giffnock North is second on 119 points with third place currently held by Scott Stirling (Falkirk Victoria Harriers) on 86.

Complete the top five in the men’s division are Eddie Narbett on 63 points and Andy Douglas (Inverclyde AC) on 60 points.

Entries are open for Falkirk
