The Lindsays National XC is coming up next month – and entries are now open!

We can’t wait to gather once again at Callendar Park in Falkirk on Saturday 24 February.

It will be the climax to the Lindsays Cross Country Season and we expect hundreds of entries from our clubs to make the National XC very special.

This year’s event will mark the 10^th season of sponsorship by Lindsays and we are hugely grateful for that support.

But what makes the day so memorable is the commitment to competition by our clubs – with usually close to 100 represented at Falkirk.

Let’s have that kind of presence and depth once again to deliver cross country contests with true nationwide meaning in Scotland and worthy medallists individually and as team across all 10 races.

A few more details to note at this juncture . . .

*These Championships will be recorded and timed by CHIPS attached to athlete bibs.All athletes must wear a CHIP and number pinned to their club vest.

U20 and U17 Women will wear a YELLOW number on their front.

*These Championships will be timed using a disposable CHIP system attached to bib numbers, there is no requirement to return used CHIPS at the end of the race.

*Clubs entering are asked to provide two marshalls to assist on the course. Names and contact details for the marshals should be emailed no later than Wednesday 14 February to alex@runningresults.co.uk

*Club entries must ensure that entrants are medically fit to compete, have no medical issues or disability that would endanger themselves or others by taking part (and will not run if unfit to do so on the day).

*By entering, all athletes agree that photographs and/or video footage may be taken and used for PR/Marketing purposes.

* Competitors MUST wear their club colours in all events and all athletes who compete in the championships MUST be current members of the scottishathletics
