Scotland team for Mixed International Relay

Scotland will field a strong team in the 4 x 1.5K International Mixed Relay race at the Great Stirling XC – and we are delighted to now have the opportunity to add an U20 selection, too.

The event is taking place on Saturday 12 January in Stirling following the move from previous home at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh.

And scottishathletics are pleased to confirm our selections – with Scotland and Scotland U20s – taking on GB, America and Europe in the 4 x 1.5K International Relay.

Two women and two men make up the teams for this race, which is scheduled for 2.35pm as the last event of the day at the Great Stirling XC.

The additional age group team offers four athletes in the U20 bracket a great chance to enjoy the opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd in a live televised event.

Kane Elliott (Falkirk Victoria Harriers, Willlie Sharp)

Erin Wallace (Giffnock North AC, Dudley Walker)

Joe Ewing (Edinburgh AC, Carol Sharp)

Sarah Calvert (Livingston AC, Sandra Hardacre)

Congratulations to these four athletes and their families and coaches on their selections – and to the clubs involved in their development over the years.
