RRGP 2025 R5 Final

Top Scottish athletes have shared £4000 in prize money via our successful Road Race Grand Prix.

The series was across five distances and events and we are delighted to cascade payments to almost 40 athletes.

Time standards had to be hit to earn shares of the overall pot and 26 athletes did so in the Men’s division and a further dozen in the Women’s division.

Brogan Wallace (£300) and Sean Chalmers (£259) are the top earners following good performances at Roon the Toon – the Scottish 10K Champs – and the final event of the series.

A total of six athletes hit either A or B standards at the event organised by Kilmarnock Harriers in June.

Men:

There were A standards for Jamie Burns (Shettleston) at 29.41 and Sean Chalmers (Aberdeen AAC) at 29.49. B standard for Hamish Hickey (Central AC) at 30.03.

Women:

There were A standards for Brogan Wallace (Shettleston Harriers) at 33.35 and Lyn McKenna (Shettleston Harriers) 34.21. B standard for Kirsty Walker (Edinburgh AC) 34.53.

Many congratulations to these six athletes on fine performances in the Scottish 10k Champs at Roon the Toon and indeed to all involved in the overall GP.

Full tables of all the shares allocated across all the five events are within the link at the top of this story.
