National Hill Running Championships

Sunday 1 June

Yetholm Hill Race plays host to the scottishathletics Senior National Championship this Sunday.

The race starts on the outskirts of Kirk Yetholm, near Kelso, and follows a rolling horseshoe around Halter Burn. The course is 12.8km with 760m of climb. Entries are on Entry Central Yetholm Hill Race – EntryCentral and close on 28 May.

Medals are awarded for the first three in each of the following categories for male and female: Senior, V40, V50, V60, V70 and teams (three to score).

West District Hill Running Championships

Saturday 7 June

The West District Championships are at Durisdeer this year on Saturday 7 June.

The race starts in the small hamlet of Durisdeer, near Thornhill, at 12 noon. The route is 16km with 1200m of climb. Entries are on the day and competitors are asked to bring £10 in cash. There is no cap on numbers.

Medals are awarded for the first three male and female finishers and the winner in the following categories: V40, V50, V60, V70 and teams (three to score).
