Jumps Pathway International selection

The Bedford International Games on Holiday Monday delivered another competition opportunity for Scottish athletes.

As per our Track and Field Handbook, it was our Jumps Pathway International.

Motherwell AC athlete Ella Russell had been selected at U18 level and made her Scotland debut with best leap at 5.49m.

Unfortunately our other two jumpers – Matilda Brockley and Holly Whittaker – pulled out with some niggles and we’re excited to see them jumping later in the season!

Other Scottish highlights at the meet included :

*Silver Nwabuzor setting a personal best of 12.74m in the triple jump

*Murray Fotheringham jumped 7.35m in the men’s A long jump pool

*Nick Percy threw 59.53m to win the main discus pool, Jacob McKinlay throwing 54.51m

*James Anderson of Stornoway set an equal PB of 1.95

*Briagh Cook jumped 5.93m to set a PB in the Long Jump

Results

Throws athletes gathered in Dundee earlier in the Weekend for our second Throws Grand Prix event of the 2026 season.

George Evans reached 52.19m in the Men’s discus and there were good performances, too, from Murray Robb.

Thank You to all athletes, coaches and clubs supporting these events and to our Officials for making it happen.
