Scotland U20 international opportunity – athletes must enter for Bedford

U20 International Opportunities – England Athletics U20 Championships & World U20 Trials: July 3-5

scottishathletics would like to remind all eligible athletes of the upcoming U20 international selection process, with important actions required by those wishing to be considered for selection.

Selection for an U20 international opportunity with Scotland will take place on 22 June 2026 and athletes should be aware that selection for this opportunity will only be made from those who have entered the England Athletics Championships and will be made from performances during the 2026 Season.

The event is being held in over the weekend of July 3-5 at Bedford. Note: entries close on Sunday 14 June.

To be eligible for selection, athletes must enter themselves into:

England Athletics U20 Championships & World U20 Trials via Roster: Roster Athletics · England Athletics U20 and Senior Track and Field and Combined Events Championships

Athletes who are not entered into these competitions will not be considered for selection, regardless of performances elsewhere.

Athletes must have a date of birth 2008/2009 to be considered for this selection and U18 athletes are expected to prioritise the U18 European Trials and/or U18 Championships.
