Coach Education programme now launched for Spring 2022

scottishathletics are delighted to announce our next Education Programme for Spring 2022.

Our team delivered over 50 education courses over 2021 and it is hugely encouraging to see the desire for learning among the membership.

There are now opportunities for would-be new coaches and leaders to take their first step on the education pathway with Leadership in Running Fitness and Coaching Assistant courses.

We also have a series of sessions set up for Coach in Running Fitness, Athletics Coach and Event Group Integration opportunities for those looking to progress their knowledge and qualification.

Hundreds take up Coach Education opportunities

We reported late last week the superb response from the athletics community in Scotland to our courses and the clear yearning for learning.

An incredible 746 people have taken part in coach education sessions delivered by scottishathletics in 2021.

The total includes jog leaders and coaching assistants taking their first step on the coaching pathway, and those who already have experience, choosing to seek further training and improve their skills.
