We are pleased today to launch a new round of our On the Right Track (OtRT) small grant scheme, which offers financial support to clubs, for projects that harness the power of sport and physical activity to create meaningful change in the lives of individuals.
Changing Lives is a national education and advocacy programme delivered by sportscotland to promote a more inclusive and healthier nation.
Contemporary research shows that being active brings about changes beyond participation and can impact positively on the health and wellbeing of individuals, their skills and learning, and the wider communities they are connected with.
At scottishathletics, we firmly believe in the power of sport to change lives.
The Changing Lives On the Right Track programme provides opportunities for clubs to connect, receive support, and co-develop innovative solutions to contemporary equality challenges faced across the sporting community.
We are inviting all clubs to join us for an information webinar on 12 February. This is a unique opportunity to find out more about the OtRT Small Grant Scheme and hear from changing lives champion Brian Pahlmann.
The webinar will run from 6.30pm – 7.30pm on Monday 12 February – Register now
We strongly recommend that clubs join the webinar if possible before applying, though it is not a requirement.
Please fill out the On the Right Track online application form.
The application deadline is 1pm on Wednesday 28 February.
For more information on the On the Right Track Small Grant Scheme please contact Erin Gillen.
