Club Together Project Gathering March 2023 – Programme
scottishathletics are making plans for our Club Together Gathering on Friday 17 March.
The meeting will be at Stirling Court Hotel, Stirling University, and will be led for us by Club Together Project Lead and National Club Manager, Jamie McDonald.
We are delighted that 18 of our athletics clubs will be in attendance from across the country.
As part of the delegation, we have three Island Clubs (North Uist AAC, Orkney Athletic and Running Club and Shetland AAC) joining us online as well as Aberdeen AAC.
It’s our intention to give Club Together Project Officers and Club Line Managers a short update and a series of short presentations from clubs on key club development topics. The focus of the evening will be on clubs networking and sharing best practice.
The 2023 gathering will focus on the topics of:
*Capacity Building and growing membership at your club. This will be led by Corstorphine AAC and Springburn Harriers
*Transforming and Changing Lives through athletics with a focus on working with under-represented groups. We will set the scene before club led sessions by North Ayrshire AC and Ayr Seaforth AC.
We very much look forward to welcoming all our club representatives at Stirling and hearing more from Corstorphine AAC, Springburn Harriers, North Ayrshire AC and Ayr Seaforth AC.
