Lindsays Road Race Series for 2027
The Lindsays National Road Relays are changing for 2027.
We recently announced dates and venues for the Lindsays Road Race Series for next year and that will include a visit to Livingston.
But the traditional event on Sunday 21 March will feature some new aspects including a change in the race HQ (previously St Margaret’s Academy).
Prominent among those changes will be Scottish Road Relays medals for a Mixed Team race at Livingston.
Teams of two men and two women will contest the event with leg allocation left to the club in terms of males or females on short of long legs. Initial feedback suggests this will appeal to a number of our clubs.
The race HQ and start/finish will be at Livingston Civic Centre. There will be a new long leg route (around 7.5k) with that including a lap round Howden Park. The short leg changes slightly, too.
It is hoped these switches will help improve the spectator experience.
Further information and new course maps will be available in due course.
Big thank you to the Road Running and Cross Country Commission and our host venue for advance planning for the Lindsays National Road Relays.
