Key info for Kirkcaldy

Kirkcaldy returns centre stage in the Lindsays Cross Country Season on Saturday.

The Lindsays Short Course XC Champs are back at the Kirkcaldy High School course in Fife for the first time since 2019.

Lanark was the venue last year after Covid intervened in 2020 and entry numbers for this year are very high indeed – with 1373 athletes listed.

Age group races for U15s start the programme on Saturday followed by the U17s races.

Our two main races then feature athletes at U20, Senior and Masters level (with individual medals for these age groups within the overall race).

Digital Programme

Saturday’s event also sees the close of our Cross Country Team Challenge (for Seniors) with clubs having competed over the District XC Relays and the National XC Relays prior to Kirkcaldy.

And it is the start of our Cross Country Grand Prix for individuals, which this year is being contested across four events and all taking place in Scotland.

In recent years Liverpool and the Inter-Counties at Loughborough have been included.
