Masters 5000m Champs and Open races at Kilmarnock
Masters athletes are invited to enter two forthcoming National Championship events on the track and taking place in the coming weeks.
And, for the long distance events at first Kilmarnock in July and then in Greenock in August, there are opportunities for Seniors and U20 to compete in ‘open’ races over first 5000m and then 10,000m.
In track and field events in Scotland, Masters athletes are aged 35 and above from the day of the event.
The first opportunity is over 5000m and that is happening at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena in Kilmarnock on Saturday 24 July.

Help is urgently required for both of these events.
Offers of volunteer assistance would be very much appreciated by email to events@scottishathletics.org.uk
For Sunday 8 August at Greenock we have a particular need for graded Track judges, timekeepers and photofinish operators.
Thank You, once again, to all the scottishathletics Officials who continue to make events happen year after year.
