Guy Learmonth will return home in January to race the EAP Glasgow as he chases selection for his fourth Commonwealth Games.
And sprinter Alyson Bell and long jumper Alessandro Schenini, event winners in front of the Emirates crowd at the first EAP Glasgow, are coming back to compete again in 2026.
Top Scottish athletes will compete in other events and join Para sprinter Thomas Young on the start-lists.
We cannot wait for our big night on Saturday 31 January and tickets are selling well as we look to generate a special atmosphere for athletes.
World Champ Doom to return to Glasgow with GB and American sprinters, too
Our Men’s Long Jump podium from the EAP Glasgow in 2025 with great jumping by three Scots
Here’s a few of the Scottish names now confirmed . . .
Adam Thomas: World Indoor finalist in 2022 with a PB of 6.56. The Scotsman has been our top 100m runner for close to a decade and will be aiming to make his second Commonwealth Games Team this summer in Glasgow.
Alyson Bell: The two-time European U23 Champion in the 4x100m will be looking to repeat the double she managed last year over 60m and 200m at the inaugural EAP Glasgow event.
Ryan Martin: Member of the Great Britain European U23 team in 2025, Ryan will be top ranked Scot over the mile in Glasgow
Alessandro Schenini: Alessandro will look to defend the event he won in 2025, the 8m long jumper who won his first British Senior title in 2025 will not have it completely his own way though, with several 7.90m+ jumpers competing in what should be a really competitive men’s long jump.
Stephen Mackenzie: A World University Games fifth placer in 2025. Stephen secured a Commonwealth Games qualifying standard when winning the Scottish Outdoor title in August and he will be looking to come out top again in Glasgow.
