The Lindsays Scottish 10k Champs will be held in Glasgow next May.
And entries are open for the event which will host the championships – the Babcock Glasgow 10k.
Shettleston Harriers are our hosts on Sunday 10 May with the race part of the hugely popular Babcock 10k Series for 2026.
Our traditional cross country sponsors Lindsays are now getting involved in road races and will support the championship element of the race.
This race is the best strength and depth 10k in Scotland and, in 2025, Wolverhampton’s Omar Ahmed powered to a Babcock Series record in 29:06 and Natasha Phillips from Dundee did likewise in the women’s race with an superb 32:48.
So top names are sure to line up again next May with the Babcock Glasgow race also part of Run Through’s Top Flight Series.
There are more than £6000 in cash prizes and Start Fitness vouchers for the first ten men and women, top three teams and winners of the V40, V50 and V60 races.
Every finisher will receive a unique commemorative medal and item of Start Fitness merchandise. Series entrants will receive a free More Mile technical t-shirt when they enter all three races,
The ‘Early Bird’ offer which takes £5 off a series entry, reducing it to £49 for affiliated runners and £55 for unaffiliated runners is for a limited period or the first 500 entries.
Don’t delay as nearly 200 runners have already taken advantage of this offer which must end at midnight on 31 December.
