Best of British! Strong Eilish run sets new mark over 15km in Netherlands
Eilish McColgan took to the roads again in Holland over the weekend and was in superb form over 15k.
At the Zevenheuvelenloop meeting in the Netherlands, the Scot became the fastest ever British female athlete over 15km
Eilish clocked 47:12 for a Personal Best and fourth overall in the race. The performance eclipsed Calli Hauger-Thackery‘s 47:24 from March this year.
That mark also put McColgan second on the European all-time list, with only Lornah Kiplagat (46:59 from 2007) ahead of her in the standings.
