Central AC and Edinburgh Uni Hares and Hounds are our winners in the Cross Country Team Challenge.
Victory for Central at the Lindsays Short Course XC at Lanark gave them maximum points in the Men’s Division.
And Edinburgh Uni’s win that day in the Senior Women’s race delivered the added bonus of top place in the Women’s Division.
Congratulations to athletes, coaches and Team Managers at both clubs on Team Challenge success.
Central men totalled 50 points to win from Edinburgh Uni (44 points) and Aberdeen AAC (43). Completing the top five were Glasgow Uni and Cambuslang Harriers.
The same five club featured in the top five in the Women’s division.
Edinburgh Uni totalled 48 to win from Aberdeen AAC (44) and Central AC (39). Completing the top five were Cambuslang Harriers and Glasgow Uni.
Our two winning clubs will each receive £250 in prize-money.
Thanks to clubs entering Senior athletes from the Lindsays Cross Country Season events this autumn.
