Trail Champs set for Birnam event in June

The Scottish National Mid-Trail Champs will be held in Perthshire next month.
Dunkeld is the venue for the Birnam Trail Race with Scottish championship medals up for grabs on Sunday 9 June.
Races are over two distances with the event open to all from U15 through to Seniors and Masters.
The two races; 5k for U15 and U17 runners and a 10k for U20, Seniors and Masters, take place on the trails in Birnam Wood.
The terrain is a mix of all that is good in trail running, giving athletes a true trail race experience.
We would strongly recommend trail shoes for this event. The route maps for both races can be found on the information page contained in the link above.
Runners must be a member of scottishathletics to take part in the race. This may extent to an open category race depending on participation uptake
