Wednesday 6th October 2021

The Lindsays Cross Country Season is almost with us!

More than 2100 athlete names are on our entry lists for the Lindsays District XC Relays happening this Saturday.

As in the past, we’ve three venues hosting the events with the East runners headed for Gala Academy, the West runners bound for Alexandra Park in Glasgow and the North event will be hosted at Nairn Links.

Key information about the events at each of these venues is posted on the Event section page (see a series of downloads on the right of the page).

We send a big thank-you in advance to everyone involved in making these events happen.

Gala Harriers are hosting the East event; Shettleston Harriers host the West event; and the North Road Running and Cross Country Commission representatives have taken on the organisation at Nairn Links.

Thanks, too, to all our Endurance Officials who are on duty this weekend.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic there are a number of changes to procedures and protocols for all attendees at scottishathletics events.

These changes are for everyone’s safety, and all attendees must take responsibility for their own hygiene and safe conduct before, during and after attending any event.

We would remind athletes and coaches and spectators that you should not attend if:

*You have COVID-19 symptoms.

*Someone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms.

*If you have been asked to self-isolate at home by the Scottish Government Test and Protect system.
