Nine Scots selected for the Paralympics
Scottish Para athletes have been in sensational form since coming out of lockdown – and Owen Miller is the latest Record-breaker!
Word reached us on Tuesday evening from Manchester of a superb performance on the track by the Paralympics-bound 1500m runner.
Owen broke his own T20 British Record for 1500m (subject to ratification) with a superb new PB of 3:52.09. There are reports (see Tweet below) which suggest this may even be a new European best!
The Fife AC athlete is pictured here with coach Steve Doig when named last week within Team GB and NI for the Paralympics.
Owen is one of no fewer than nine Scots picked within Team GB and NI for the Paralympics, which start on August 24.
Many congratulations to Owen, his family, his coach and all the support team via Fife AC.
