Action from the Age Groups in Aberdeen in 2018 – now we’re headed back to the Granite City for 2021 event (photo by Bobby Gavin)
Aberdeen Sports Village is the venue for our 4J Studios Age Group Champs on the weekend of August 28/29.
U15s will compete on Saturday and U13s on Sunday with the U20 programme spread over the two days.
The event is being streamed live on Vinco and with a lot of coverage across our own channels – so it is really important we present the best image of the sport.
We’d love athletes and coaches, therefore, to commit to joining us in Aberdeen – our first national championship opportunity in these age groups for two years because of Covid-19 restrictions.
*We are already operating waiting lists in the following events: U13 Girls Long Jump; U15 Girls 100m; U15 Girls 200m; U15 Girls Long Jump.
Coach/spectator registration: This must be done in advance, entry cannot be taken on the day.
Coach members of scottishathletics can book their place for free; for spectators, entry is £3 per day or £5 for a 2-day pass, paid online at the time of booking.
KEY QUESTIONS WHILE ENTERING
Question: I can’t get to the entry page as the fixture listing just says entries open soon. What do I do?
Answer: As entry is open only to members at the moment, the athlete needs to log in to their account before completing their entry. Log in, and then enter via the fixture page within the portal.
Question: The page says there are no fees set so I can’t complete my entry. What do I do?
Answer: Similarly, entry fees are only available to members currently. The athlete needs to make sure that their membership is valid for the competition date when they enter (ie. it does not expire between now and the competition date), otherwise they will not be recognised as a current member by the entry form.
So, please renew, then return to the entry form to complete the entry.
