Thank You for your support of national championship events in the 4J Outdoor Season.

We have two major weekends coming up soon with the 4J Age Groups at Grangemouth followed a week later by the Senior and U18 Champs in Aberdeen.

And, adding in the recent Combined Events and Masters Championship events weekend, we are thrilled to have close to 1950 athletes entered for events this August.

That’s a brilliant ‘grassroots’ commitment to competition with entries for those events largely open while the inspiration of a home Commonwealth Games took place with Team Scotland in action at Scotstoun.

Here are the athletes entered numbers . . .

646 for Seniors and U18s at Aberdeen

942 for U20, U16, U14 champs at Grangemouth

343 for CE and Masters at Grangemouth

1931 total athletes for seven championship events

We really appreciate the support of athletes, coaches and clubs to make our Scottish national championship events successful in terms of both participation and performance. Thanks to all event volunteers.

As for our dedicated team of qualified scottishathletics Officials, who make events happen every week at venues across Scotland, our gratitude and appreciation is hopefully very clear!
