Calling clubs! Join us for our ‘Employment Ready’ webinar

The scottishathletics Development Team are pleased to be hosting the next webinar in our education programme for 2021.

We want to strike a balance of internal and external courses that cover a wide range of topics and support clubs with their continued development.

Our next webinar is as follows:

Employment Ready – Monday 19 April 7pm to 8.30pm

The webinar is being delivered by our partners French Duncan HR Services and is being delivered in partnership with Scottish Gymnastics.

The session will:

Define the different paying for services options for athletics clubs – employed, worker and self-employed. The webinar will outline the key considerations of each of these each options and how to establish employment status;
Understand the legal obligations applicable to any club seeking to establish themselves as an employer;
Provide details of practical considerations of employing staff including costs, insurance, pension, health and safety, setting up payroll and the payroll process, relevant policies and procedures;
Provide further support, resources and guidance including links, contacts and outline of the support French Duncan HR Services can provide through the partnership with scottishathletics and Scottish Gymnastics.
