Scottish athletics 2020 conference

There’s less than a week to go to our first virtual National Club Conference.

The National Club Conference is usually the highlight of the year in club development, bringing 90-100 club leaders together to share best practice, network and learn from guest speakers.

This year, we can’t deliver a face-to-face event for obvious reasons, but we are delighted nonetheless to be making plans to bring the conference to you virtually.

We have one of Europe’s leading clubs, Sparta Atletik from Denmark, joining us for the keynote presentation.

The agenda also features Vicky Huyton, the founder of the Female Coaching Network, presentations from Pitreavie AAC and West End Road Runners, and contributions from Mark Munro (CEO) and Stephen Maguire (Head of Performance & Coaching). The full agenda is attached.

The virtual National Club Conference will take place on Saturday 14 November 2020 from 10am to 2.30pm.

Please note there are a number of short breaks built in during this time for networking and to stretch your legs.

When you log-in to the conference you will be able to choose a table to ‘sit’ at giving you a chance to speak with four or five other leaders at the same table.

If you are more comfortable leaving your camera off and just listening in, then that is no problem at all and we would still be pleased to have you there.
