It was gold medal glory for Steph Twell and Adam Craig at the Lindsays National XC at Falkirk.
Twell, who won the English National Senior title nine years ago, added the Scottish version on her first visit to Callendar Park with Moira Stewart of Cambuslang taking silver and Morag Millar of Central Ac in third.
Craig, second in Armagh recently, returned to his cross country roots to claim victory by a huge margin with Fife AC’s Kevin Wood in second and Michael Christoforou of Edinburgh AC in third.
