The Glasgow Athletics Association Endurance Group cross country training sessions have two remaining dates this winter – with the next session this Saturday (January 19).

These sessions are a great way to prepare for the Lindsays National XC coming up at Falkirk on Saturday 23 February and also offer coaches a good chance to meet and chat informally.

Pollok Park in Glasgow is the venue this Saturday and athletes should be warmed up and ready to run at 10.30am. All the sessions are open to U15 athletes and above.

Here’s the two remaining sessions:

Saturday 19 January at Pollok: 10 min tempo; 10 x 1min/1min recovery; 10 min tempo

Saturday 9 February at Tollcross Park: up to 8 x 4 min with 2 min recovery
