Half Marathon team selection story

scottishathletics are sending athletes to race for Scotland in Northern Ireland this weekend.

Runners will represent Scotland as they take on the Antrim Coast Half Marathon on Sunday (23 August.)

As part of the same event, there is an international 5k race and a further eight athletes have been selected to race for Scotland over the shorter distance.

Selections were made some time ago as per our International Handbook and then announced publicly.

Many congratulations to the athletes picked for Scotland and to their families, coaches and clubs on a significant representative honour.

Thank you to our Road Running and Cross Country Commission and Antrim Coast Half Marathon event organisers for making this opportunity available.
