A number of young Scots made their way to Sheffield over the weekend to compete in the England Athletics Age Group Champs.
Giffnock North athlete Alyson Bell came up with a Scottish U17 Record in the 60m as she took bronze in that final (see more here).
And there was also a Scottish U15 Record in the U15 Boys 200m from Dean Patterson of Glasgow School of Sport with a run of 22.58 to win gold.

U20 Women 800m: Silver for Charlotte Clare of Lasswade in 2:15.17
U17 Women 800m: Bronze for Katie Johnson of Edinburgh in 2:10.93
U17 Women 300m: Bronze for Rebecca Grieve of Pitreavie AAC in 40.55
U15 Girls High Jump: Bronze for Katie Harvie of Lasswade with 1.59m
U15 Girls Lond Jump: Silver for Libby White of Ayr Seaforth with 5.26m
U15 Girls Shot Putt: Gold for Meghan Porterfield with 12.96m
U20 Men Long Jump: Silver for Adam Hoole of Team East Lothian with 7.04m; Bronze for Murray Fotheringham of Giffnock with 7.00m
U15 Girls High Jump: Silver for Jenna Hilditch of VP-Glasgow with 1.59m
Many congratulations to these athletes and their families and coaches on winning medals at the England Athletics Age Groups. And, indeed, well done to all Scots who made the trip to Sheffield in order to experience deeper level of competition.
