World Indoor Champs – the schedule for three Scots

The World Indoors in Glasgow will be a fast and furious festival of athletics, with the the medal contests spanning just three days from March 1 to 3.

But with three truly world-class Scots competing, there will be plenty for the local crowds to get excited about.

With Jemma Reekie in the 800m, and Laura Muir and Josh Kerr in the 3000m, their schedules are as follows (brackets denotes that an appearance is dependent on progression from previous rounds) –

Friday 1 March

11.40am Women’s 800m heats – Jemma Reekie

Saturday 2 March

12.10pm Women’s 800m semi finals (Jemma Reekie)
8.15pm Women’s 3000m final – Laura Muir
8.40pm Men’s 3000m final – Josh Kerr

Sunday 3 March

9.20pm Women’s 800m final (Jemma Reekie)
