Laura named GB captain for Budapest but Eilish misses out
Eight Scots were selected for the GB and NI team to compete at the 2023 World Champs in Budapest.
That number has now been cut to seven competitors, unfortunately, with Eilish McColgan having been a late withdrawal from the Women’s 10,000m in Hungary.
There’s still lots of excitement to come and the action starts on Saturday with Scots involved in heats in 1500m events – Laura Muir, Neil Gourley and Josh Kerr.
Below is the full schedule of events for our Scots with GB and NI.
