Start List 4 June New Gradings Livingston is the venue again on Saturday for the latest in our summer 2016 Throws Grand Prix series. There have been changes made the planning and organisation of this event at Craigswood following issues which arose at the first of four fixtures over the season. We’re delighted almost 150 throwers have put their names forward for start-lists and would ask them to view these prior to coming along on Saturday. Those start-lists are lodged (for the moment) within a story online – but please note there are no entries on the day on Saturday. In order to help the schedule, more time has been allocated to each event in the timetable and we’re grateful once again – in advance – to our scottishathletics officials for their unstinting assistance. Hugh Murray, the National Coach Mentor for Throws, will be at Livingston on Saturday to lead the organisation of the event. There’s a wide range of age and abilities entered through the younger sections – and we very much see the Throws GP partly as a development event – as well as a number of veterans. The event is now well established with entries from Annan to Inverness in terms of Scots as well a number from the north of England and Ireland. The remaining events at Craigswood after Saturday are as follows: Saturday 23 July: Enter online Saturday 3 September: Enter online
