Kirkcaldy is the venue for the next big occasion in our Lindsays Cross Country Season – with the Lindsays Short Course XC Champs.
And it it still very much all to play for in the Scottish Cross Country Team Challenge as Senior teams battle for points as well the National Championship medals.
The Team Challenge is contested over the District Relays, the National Relays and the Short Course so what happens in Kirkcaldy will be the decider.
In the Women’s division, it’s close between the top five teams for the prize of £250 for the winning club.
Five clubs are separated by only two points with Cambuslang Harriers heading the table at 27 followed by Central AC and Shettleston Harriers on 26. A further point behind are Edinburgh Uni Hare and Hounds and Edinburgh AC.
In the Men’s division, it looks like a straight fight between Central AC and Cambuslang Harriers. Cumbernauld winners Central have maximum points at 30 with Cambuslang on 29.
Fife AC are in third place with 26 points. Completing the top five are: Edinburgh Uni Hare and Hounds on 25 points and Inverclyde AC on 23.
