HOW IT IS GOING !!It's not too often brothers are picked for Scotland in track and field but that happened this week in our selection for the Loughborough International.Jack and Oliver Patton are picked in the endurance events in a memorable moment for the family, coach Robert Hawkins and Kilbarchan AAC.Dad John helped us with a photo of two with Jack and Oliver having come into the sport after trying triathlon in their early years. Now Jack will race the mile at Loughborough and Oliver the steeplechase.Good luck to both Patton boys and all the rest of our Scotland team.(Historian Arnold Black has Alec and Kadfe Thomas racing for Scotland in 2018 and then we are back to the 1980s and 1970s for brothers). ...
