Young Scottish athletes have received important backing from Scottish SportsAid via a series of grant allocations.

In total, 20 Scots are being supported via the fund this year with 19 of those awarded via SportsAid Scotland and a further one via SportsAid in London (Erin Wallace).

The fund supports about 220 aspiring athletes in Scotland across 30 different sports and seeks to help with training and competition costs.

Talented and hard-working young athletes in the age group from 12 to 22 years are supported each year, via various grants and benefactors.
