Scottish trio headed for India to race World 50k Champs

Three Scottish athletes are this week preparing for ultra running action at international level.

UK Athletics are taking their Novuna GB and NI team to the World 50k Championships in New Delhi, India.

The championships were postponed in December and now take place on Saturday 14 March.

Athletes take on a 5km loop run 10 times on a flat road circuit in the Indian capital, Delhi.

The GB and NI team is 11-strong with the Scots involved Katrina Ballantyne, Kevin Campbell and Henry Hart.

Congratulations to these athletes, their families, coaches and clubs.
