Eight athletes will represent Scotland at the Armagh Road Races this year.

The event is coming up on Thursday 14 February in Northern Ireland and it has been very much a happy hunting ground in recent years for Scots seeking PBs.

Men run the 5k road race and women compete over the 3k distance in a race which generates a great atmosphere around the streets of Armagh.

A large number of Scots are already entered via their clubs and, as per our Road Running and Cross Country Commission selection policy, four men and four women are picked to race for Scotland..

Here are the Scotland teams:

Jamie Crowe (Central AC), Cameron Strachan (Metro Aberdeen), Michael Christoforou (Edinburgh AC); James Donald (Dundee Hawkhill Harriers).

Jenny Selman (Fife AC), Annabel Simpson (Fife AC), Kerry MacAngus (Kilbarchan AAC); Cera Gemmell (Team East Lothian)

Congratulations to all these athletes on being selected to represent Scotland and to their families and coaches as well as the clubs involved in their development over the years.
