Eight athletes will pull on Scotland colours to compete over 10k at the Leeds Abbey Dash on November 16.
Commonwealth Games 5th-place 10,000m finisher Beth Potter (VPCOG) – pictured – and Scottish 10k Road Champion Andrew Butchart (Central AC) are among the Scotland selections for the event next month.
Potter is joined on the women’s team by fellow Glasgow 2014 Team Scotland members Steph Twell (Aldershot, Farnham and District) and Laura Whittle (Royal Sutton Coldfield), along with Rhona Auckland (Banchory Stonehaven), who represented Team GB in the 10,000m at the European Cup.
To complete the men’s lineup there will be Dublin 10 Mile Road Race Winner Andrew Douglas (Inverclyde AC), Scottish Half Marathon Champion Callum Hawkins (Kilbarchan AAC) and Scottish 10,000m Champion Luke Traynor (Giffnock North AC).
