The 54th edition of the Allan Scally Memorial Relay was special in so many ways with a record entry of 301 teams.

Club runners competing in Glasgow thus broke the record yet again for the biggest club relay in Scotland and the event must be amongst the biggest ever in the UK .

Cambuslang Harriers took the men’s win for he first time in nearly  20 years (2005-06) and broke the course record by two seconds  on the Glasgow Green Course.

Heriot Watt were second in the open race and took the Scottish Student Sport title for the first time in their history. Host club Shettleston Harriers were third.

It was a first for Corstorphine AAC when they took the Women’s trophy from last year’s winners Glasgow University. Glasgow Uni had the consolation of taking the Scottish Students title again from rivals Edinburgh University, who finished third overall.

Fastest laps were posted by two Fife AC  athletes. Ben Sandilands, the Paris T20 1500m Paralympic champion, clocked 14.22. Annabel Simpson, who holds the record for the fastest lap (15.39 in 2022), clocked 16.01 this year.

Big thank to all entrants, volunteers and Officials who helped deliver the Allan Scally Relays.

Provisional results are online
